Welcome to My Digital Business Models Blog

Introduction

Hello! My name is Ben Leahy and I am currently studying towards an MSc International Management at the University of Exeter. I did my undergraduate degree in History at Durham University and therefore, a business-related qualification represents a step-change from my original discipline. However, I was committed to developing my business skills, knowledge, and acumen before entering the workplace and regarded this programme as the best means to achieving this. So far, so good!

I chose Digital Business Models as a module because, as a topic, it is more relevant than ever with the current constantly evolving corporate landscape driven by technological disruption and innovation. Importantly, this disruption represents opportunity as much as it does risk and I look forward to exploring the ways in which organisations are adapting to this change as well as maximising the benefits intrinsic to it.

Reflection on the module

I have thoroughly enjoyed studying Digital Business Models this term. The module is unique in that it is almost exclusively taught online.
